Richard Lee Helsel

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Richard Lee Helsel, affectionately known as “Rick,” a loving, supportive, and dedicated husband, who left this world on December 15, 2024, at the age of 74. Born in Pennsylvania on November 6, 1950, to Arthur and Marion Helsel, Richard made Littleton, Massachusetts his home, where his genuine warmth and steadfast courage touched the lives of all who knew him.

Richard's dedication was not only evident in his personal life but also in his professional life. He devoted many years of his life to the post office as a mail handler, where his hard work and commitment were recognized by all. His work was not just a job but a testament to his character - a man who believed in the power of communication and the strength of connection. Rick also dedicated 20 years of his life serving the United States Army, for which he was extremely proud of.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Diane Helsel, who was his pillar of strength and his beacon of love. He was a man who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Marion Helsel.
