Richard A. Tidd

Richard A. Tidd, age 45, a resident of Bedford, NH, passed away on November 22, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. Rick was born June 28, 1967 in Dunstable, MA the beloved son of Ann (Portalla) Tidd who survives him and resides in Dunstable, MA and the late Albert Tidd. He graduated from Groton Dunstable Regional High School with the class of 1985, earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Lowell in 1991, and his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University in 2003. Rick had worked at MIT Lincoln Laboratory for the past four and half years as a Sonar Research Engineer. Many friends and family will always remember Rick as the most kind, loving, giving and honest person that they have ever known. Rick's passions were being with his children, volleyball, sailing, hiking, skiing, and reading.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving and devoted partner, Cynthia Bequette of Bedford, NH; his daughter, Mia Tidd and his son, Mason Tidd both of North Reading, MA , and his two sisters, Lisa Pratt of Ashburnham, MA and Kristin Tidd of Dunstable, MA. He will also be greatly missed by his three nephews, Dominick Tidd, and Marcus and Cameron Pratt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Dunstable Congregational Church, 518 Main St., Dunstable, MA. Burial at a later date.
