Rickie Claude Watts, 57, of Littleton, MA, died peacefully surrounded by his family on August 28, 2023. He was the son of Donna Claudine (Howard) Watts and the late Everett E. Watts. Rick is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Robin Iott-Layon Watts. 

Rick was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 17, 1965. Growing up, Rick attended the local public schools in Kansas City, such as Ruskin High School, and later acquired his GED. After moving to his first home in Kansas City in 1987, Rick found his lifelong passion for driving trucks and hauling freight across the country. During his career, Rick drove for companies such as Cardinal Health, Penske Logistics, and Dot's Pretzels. 

In 2005, Rick married the love of his life, Robin. Together they traveled for their feasts once a year, for 18 years. For a brief time, they lived together in New York and Massachusetts. Rick and Robin both shared a love for animals, adopting three dogs and two cats over the years. 

Along with his wife, Rick was deeply devoted to his church, the Living Church of God. Ricks participated in many congregations, such as those in Kansas City, Albany, Joplin, Auburn, and Pawtucket. Among their contributions, Rick and Robin faithfully supported their work, including the Tomorrow's World program. 

In addition to his wife, Rick is survived by his mother Donna Watts Howard, his mother-in-law Jean E. Layon, his brothers Carl,  Steven and Lisa (Kowalski) Watts, his step-children David and Courtney Larrabee, his grandchildren Zachary and Conor Larrabee, Daniel-Richard Larrabee, his grandaughter Holly (Larabee) Judd, Joselyn-Jean and Billy Mortell, Jaeden Daniel Layon Mortell and Kailyn (Lily) Mortell, his in-laws Jonathan Iott-Layon, Jaime and Colleen Layon, Victorian (Tino) Iott and Jennifer Layon, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rick is proceeded in death by his father Everett Earl Watts, his grandparents Claudie and Nadine (Howard) Spence, Sylvester and Gertrude (Watts) Billings, his uncles and aunts Walter and Betty (Watts) Jacks, Clifton Watts and Luana (Nuss) Howard, and by his father in-law Daniel S. Layon. 

A visitation will be held in Rick's memory on Wednesday, September 6, from 1:00PM-3:00PM at the Boxboro Regency and Conference Center, 242 Adams Place, Boxborough, MA 01719. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 3:00PM.

A memorial service will also be held on Friday, September 15, at 1:30PM at the Living Church of God, 6416 Gateway Drive, Joplin, Missouri.
