Rita P. Becotte

Rita P. Becotte, passed away on April 15, 2014 at the Apple Valley Nursing Home in Ayer, MA. She was the wife of the late Roy (Raoul) Becotte.
Rita was born in Methuen, MA on July 29, 1915 to parents, August and Pauline (Mandel) Goebel. She was the tenth of eleven children.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Suprenant and husband, Paul and Beverly Fitzgerald; five grandchildren, Renee Cyr, Mark Suprenant, John Suprenant, Craig Fitzgerald and Lee Fitzgerald; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, David Becotte; five sisters, Elizabeth Goebel, Rose Moan, Emma Miller, Martha McCarthy, and Marian Courtemanche; five brothers, Fred, Arthur, Albert, Frank, and George Goebel and a grandson, Eric Fitzgerald.
The family extends their gratitude for the kind care she received at Nashoba Assisted Living and Apple Valley Nursing Home.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, June 20th at 10 a.m. at the Marchand Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Pepperell, MA followed by Funeral Services at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
