Rita (Arsenault) Dallaire, 90, of Littleton, MA passed away on January 28, 2015 at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton. She was the beloved wife of Gerard J. (Jerry) Dallaire for 57 years. Born in Lawrence, MA she was the daughter of the late Richard and Claudia (Willett) Arsenault. Rita grew up in New Brunswick, Canada and moved to United States in her early 20's. She met her husband in Waltham. They lived in Cambridge and eventually settled in Littleton where they made their home for 46 years. Rita worked as homemaker, and helped to provide day care for her grandchildren for many years, a parishioner of St. Anne's Church in Littleton, avid bingo player, a gardener and an accomplished seamstress.
Devoted wife of Gerard, of Littleton, loving mother of Eva Regan and her husband Kevin of Westford, MA, Nancy McAlpine and her husband Scott of Lancaster, MA, Richard Dallaire and wife Christi of Tenino, WA, and the late David J. Dallaire. Memere to Lauren Regan Frisch, Kyle Regan, Kellen Regan, Jonathan McAlpine, Jenna McAlpine, Marissa and David Dallaire. Survived by a brother Edward and wife Winnie Arsenault of NB, Canada, sisters Elise White of Somerville and Delia Arsenault of NB, Canada. She was also the sister of the late Emile and Arthur Arsenault. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St, Littleton on Wednesday February 4th from 4-7 pm and Thursday February 5th at 9:00 before proceeding to St. Anne's Church75 King Street, Littleton for a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
