Robert E. Aliot, 67, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 surrounded by his loving wife of 24 years.
He was born October 12 1946 in Somerville, MA, the son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Burlamachi) Aliot. Bob grew up in Billerica, MA on Riveredge Rd. He served in the U.S. Army as Sgt. during the Vietnam War (1967-1969). He worked for Cedrone Trucking in Billerica, MA and was the former owner of Aliot Construction. He was a member of the Pepperell V.F.W. Post #3291. Bob had a passion for tinkering on his chevy corvettes, boating on Lake Winnipesaukee and attending local antique car shows.
He is survived by his wife, Helen (Pillsbury) Aliot; a son, Matthew Keizer, a daughter, Robbin Aliot, and a stepson Nicholas Drew; four sisters, Diana Monsen-Rhames, Donna Harmon and husband Jim, Cherry Bermingham-Paquette and Phyllis Bermingham; one granddaughter, Brianna Rohan as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Rita Gifford and his brothers, Paul Aliot and Billy Bermingham.
Visiting hours at the Funeral Home on Friday, May 9th from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Pepperell.
