Robert Brown

Robert Brown, 73 and a long time Groton resident passed away peacefully on August 16, 2019 at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer. He was the devoted husband of Patricia Squires-Brown for over 37 years.

Robert was born in Detroit, MI on December 19, 1945, a son to the late Kenneth and Jeanette (Carlisle) Brown. He honorably served his country in the US Army and went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from University of Michigan. An avid outdoorsman, Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and all activities that brought him closer to nature. He was happiest when he was in his canoe on the Saco River in Maine. Robert was also a member of the Maine Professional Guides Association and the Nashoba Sportsmen's Club.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his brother, Allen K. Brown of N. Kingstown, RI as well as many special nieces, nephew and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Robert on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street, Groton.
