Robert D. Cronin, 65, of Devens, MA, died peacefully at Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading, MA on October 31, 2014. He was born in New Brunswick, Canada, on February 20, 1949, son of the late Daniel and Gaynell (Campbell) Cronin. He grew up in Canada and moved to Brighton, MA in his senior year of High School, after his graduating from Brighton High he graduated from Boston State University. Robert was a plumber all his life and retired from Maguire Company in Newton,
Mr. Cronin had made his home in Medford for many years and lived in Devens for the last 10 years. He was a member of Westford Sportsman's Club where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and sporting clays
His survivors include his wife Catherine (Boughter) Cronin of Devens, 2 daughters Wendy Cronin of Ayer, and Darcy and she husband Phil Ossino of Medford. He was the brother of John Cronin of Mexico, Thomas Cronin of Winthrop, Anne Cronin of West Hartford, CT, and Barbara Dotson of Tewksbury. Visiting Hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton on Thursday November 6 from 4-8 pm, A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Anne Church 75 King St. Littleton on Friday November 8, 2014 at 10 am.
