Robert W. Johnson, 87, died at his long time Westford home on January 5, 2021. Born September 5, 1933, he was the son of the late Ernest B. and Ruth C. (Peterson) Johnson of Lexington, Massachusetts. He owned and operated Johnson Landscaping for 55 plus years, and was a renowned salesman of International heavy equipment.
Bob was a farmer at heart, and especially loved his garden. He operated Johnson's Farm Stand at the corner of Carlisle and Concord roads in Parker Village for the past many years, where his incredible tomatoes were the main draw for repeat customers.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his son Robert E. Johnson (Karen) of Westford, and daughters Wendy Dutile (Peter) of Dracut and Gail Johnson-Cobleigh (Keith) of Pepperell; brother Ernest of East Sandwich and sister Lorraine Small (Howard) of South Yarmouth.
Bob is also survived by stepchildren Bruce Dureault of Palm Bay, FL, Karen Boisjoly (Rick) of Owl's Head, ME, Brian Dureault of Haverhill, Susan McGregor-Horn (Harry) of Westford, Donna Dureault (Kevin Baur) of Hampton, NH and Catherine Schoenenberger (Keith) of Westford, plus many grandchildren, and long-time friend, Charlie Hillman of Chelmsford.
Aside from his parents, Bob was also predeceased by his son Wesley, brothers Stanley and Arthur, and step-son Kenneth Dureault.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Robert for a period of visitation from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Monday January 11, 2021 in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton. Funeral services and burial in Groton Cemetery will be private.
