Roger R. Lindstrom, age 56, a resident of Lowell, formerly of Westford and Cambridge died, Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011 at the Lowell General Hospital surrounded by family and friends after a period of declining health.
Born in Putnam, CT on Feb. 20, 1955, he was the son of the late Bert and Margaret (Murphy) Lindstrom. Mr. Lindstrom was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, Class of 1972. He attended Northeastern University and worked as a Lab Technician in the Chemical Industry and as a Manager in the Steel Fabrication Industry for many years. His hobbies included basketball, science fiction, computers, poetry and photography.
He leaves a daughter, Kerri of NY, two brothers, Ernie and his wife Lorraine of Pepperell, MA, Leonard of Mananas, VA; two sisters, Sydney of Fountain Valley, CA and Frances of Wilbraham, MA, numerous nieces and nephews and close friend, Susan Parker of Lowell, MA. He is pre-deceased by his sisters, Louise, Bea, Florence, and Margaret.
Visiting hours at the Marchand Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant Street, Pepperell, MA are on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 from 1 to 3 p.m. A memorial service in the spring is also planned.
