Rosemarie Shelton Wright

December 15, 1931 — July 5, 2017

Rosemarie (Shelton) Wright age 85 of Littleton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Wright, Sr.

Rosemarie grew up in the mill town of Central Falls, RI, the daughter of Catherine and Joseph Shelton. Upon graduation from Sacred Heart High School, Rosemarie married her High School sweet heart, Bob, and moved to Texas where he was stationed in the Air Force.

After 2 Years in Texas, Rosemarie and Bob moved to Massachusetts, first to Franklin, and then to Littleton in 1956.  It was at their home in Littleton that Rosemarie and Bob established and raised their family of 7 children.  Throughout her life, Rosemarie was known for her kind, patient, welcoming demeanor, her love and pride of her family and her Irish heritage. Known as "Mimi" to her 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, she never forgot a birthday and always had her families favorite baked good on hand when they visited.

Rosemarie is survived by her seven children, Karen and Dick Belle of VA, Bob Wright Jr. and Kathy of North Carolina, Dan Wright of NJ, Tom and Kyoko Wright of FL, Mary and Ted Sullivan of Billerica, Donna and Guy Donell of Ayer, and Kate and Jeff Robinson of Shirley.  She is pre-deceased by two of their granddaughters, Kaitlin Wright and Meghan Sullivan. Rosemarie leaves behind two sisters in law, Nancy (Wright) Farnum of SC and Carol Shelton of RI, one sister, Catherine Shelton of RI and will join her brother and sister, Henry and Patrice Shelton in heaven.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Rosemarie for her funeral mass on Saturday, July 8 at 9:30 am in St. Anne's Church, 75 King St., Littleton. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
