Scott W. Hilt, 66, of Westford MA, passed away on October 4, 2022. He was the loving husband to Natalie Joy Hilt (Dudley).
Scott was born on December 18, 1955 in Norristown, PA. He was the first born of George C. Hilt and Janice P. (Glodfelter) Hilt. He reunited with his Lord and Savior unexpectedly on October 4, 2022 after years of declining health. He attended Citadel Bible College in Ozark, Arkansas from 1976-1980; where earned a Bachelor's degree in religious studies. He loved teaching and went on to teach math in Christian schools in Florida. He met his wife, Natalie in college. They were married on July 26, 1980 in Pasco County, FL. He and Natalie shared a love of music and sang in the college choir together. He loved playing, coaching, and refereeing basketball through the years. The Hilt family relocated to the Pittsburg, PA area in 1989 and again to Uxbridge, MA in 1992. They eventually found their way to Leominster, MA in 2000, where he resided until a month before his passing.
He was devoted to his family, his faith, and his work. He worked for Terminix for over 20 years, but his true passion was his work at Shriver Job Corps. He would talk to anyone. Nobody was a stranger to him. Every summer, he looked forward to his two weeks at Camp Rise and Shine in Nebo, WV as a camp counselor.
Scott was predeceased by both his parents, his brothers Eric Hilt, Kurt Hilt, and John Hilt. He is survived by his wife, Natalie of Westford MA; his daughters Kimberly Metcalf and husband Richard Metcalf of Ayer, MA, Kristin Hilt and husband Benjamin Mikels of Fitchburg, MA, Karise Arbogast and husband Michael Arbogast of Uxbridge, MA, Kayla Hilt and partner Jon Bourque of Millinocket, ME, and Kiersti Hilt of Westford, MA; his five grandchildren: Ashton Kimball, Levon Mello, Zander Metcalf, Hunter Bourque, and Isabella Mikels; his brother George Hilt Jr., and in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
