Shirley was born in McAdam, New Brunswick, Canada on June 14, 1939, the daughter of the late Eldon and Mary J. (Enman) McDougall. She was the wife of Roger C. She loved music from singing to playing the guitar or piano. She will be missed by many.

Donoghue, both of Pepperell; two sisters, Elaine MacDonald and her husband Gene of Maine and Judith Yerxa and her husband Brian of Canada; 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, one on the way and too many nieces and nephews to name, loving them all the same. She was predeceased by two brothers, Claude J. McDougall and his wife, Mary and Vernon A. McDougall and his wife, Sharon and a son-in-law, Jeffery M. Rodier.
