Vacirca of Groton, Stella M. Vacirca died on October 13, 2013 at the Apple Valley Center, in Ayer at the age of 95 She was born in Everett, MA. on April 1, 1918 daughter of the late Pasquale Velardo and Anna(Galuna). She was married to her late husband Michael S. Vacirca for 73 years. Stella volunteered at the Give & Take Gift Store for many years. She is survived by her son, Michael S. Vacirca, Jr. of Groton, her daughter Helen Fournier of Merritt Island, Fl, and was predeceased by her son Robert G. Vacirca.
She is also survived by her daughter in law Helen Vacirca, two grandchildren Joanne Lavalle and Bobby Vacirca, and two great grandchildren Ava and Olivia. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 5-8PM at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School St., Groton with a funeral service on Friday at 11AM. Burial will be in Groton Cemetery.
