Suzanne D. (Medeiros) Fredette, 75 and longtime resident of Littleton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at CareOne in Concord with her husband and daughter by her side. She was the loving wife of Andre B. Fredette.
Born on July 12, 1946 in Wailuku, Hawaii, Suzanne was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Hilda (Estrella) Medeiros. Raised and educated in Hawaii, Sue graduated from Saint Anthony High School. Not long after she met Andy while he was serving with the United States Air Force on Haleakala. The two fell in love and were married on August 28, 1965 at Holy Rosary Church in Paia, Maui. From there, the two settled in Littleton where they raised their loving family.
Family was the greatest joy in Suzanne's life. She worked many years as co-owner of Twice as Nice Bridal Shoppe and also as a teacher's aide at Shaker Lane School. She also loved sewing, crafts and spending time outside tending to her beautiful garden. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In addition to her husband, Suzanne is survived by her daughters Debra Fredette of South Carolina, and Nicole Devoe and her husband Timothy of Natick. She is also survived by her two twin sisters, Marilyn Williams and Carolyn Medeiros, both of Oregon as well as her brother, Lawrence "Duke" Medeiros of California. She is also survived by her most beloved granddaughter, Stephanie Suzanne Devoe of Natick. She was predeceased by her older sister Sharon Abrew of Maui.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Suzanne for a period of visitation on Saturday, February 5th, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the visiting hours at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
