Groton
Thelma (Webber) Crocker, 91, of Groton, MA, passed away on January 8, 2014 at Apple Valley Center in Ayer. She was born in Revere, MA on November 15, 1922, daughter of the late Theodore and Sarah (Parsons) Webber, and was the wife of the late Everett Crocker who died in 2007. She grew up in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School. Thelma worked at Hy Sil Wrapping Paper Company, where she met her husband. After her marriage, she made her home in Billerica for over 40 years and moved to Groton several years ago, where she made her home at Rivercourt Residences.
Mrs. Crocker enjoyed her summer residence in Wakefield, NH. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Billerica, MA and enjoyed bowling.
Her survivors include her children, Susan and her husband Roland Houde of Groton, and Alan and his wife Elizabeth Crocker of Marbletown, NY, a sister- in ?law Florence Webber of Medford, 2 grandchildren, Courtney Houde and Katelyn Houde, a great granddaughter, Acacia Mbugua, a dear friend, Annabelle Dyke, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Herbert Webber.
Visiting hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School St., Groton, MA on Monday from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Union Congregational Church, Main Street, Groton on Tuesday at 11 am followed by burial at Groton Cemetery, Groton MA.
