Thelma Mollot passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton, Ma. She was 103. Her husband Aaron Mollot, a professional pianist and bandleader, passed away in August 2001. She was born Thelma Cora Phillips on September 26, 1911 in Baltimore, Md. Her childhood was spent in the Lehigh Valley area of Pa. For most of her adult life she resided in New York City. She lived the last 11 years with her family in Groton, Massachusetts. She was a wonderful artist, and harpist. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Edward Phillips of Slatington, PA., Fred Phillips of Walnutport, Pa., and her sister Elsie Merkle of Walnutport, Pa. She is survived by her only child Cheryl Drubin and her son-in-law Cliff Drubin of Groton, Ma.; her brother Ralph Smith of Gilbertsville, Pa.; her grandson Stephen Drubin of Groton; and her grandson David Drubin, his wife Molly and her great granddaughter Maggie Drubin of Jamaica Plain, Ma.
Badger Funeral Home in Groton, Ma. is in charge of funeral arrangements. A Memorial service will be held on January 31, 2015 at 1 PM at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street Groton.
