Thelma Jean Williams

Thelma Jean Williams, age 76, of Shirley, MA passed away on January 22, 2020.

Thelma was born in Devens, MA on February 8, 1943, daughter of the late Valentine and Annabelle (Owens) Williams. She was raised and educated in Ayer; graduating from Ayer High School and later from Boston University.

Thelma worked for many years as a facilities planner at Digital Equipment Corporation, where she retired from in 1990. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, painting, and crocheting.

She is survived by four sisters, Dorothy Lewis and Ruth Jordan of Ayer, Catherine McMiller of Leominster, and Anne Kitzmiller of Warwick, MA; and four brothers, Valentine Williams and Larry Williams of Shirley, John Williams of Ayer, and Bobby Williams of Westford, MA; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Thelma at her funeral service on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ayer.
