Timothy Fenton Phelan, 55, of Groton, MA, passed away suddenly on August 25, 2023. He was the son of the late James and Dorothy (Horton) Phelan.
Tim was born in Groton, MA, on July 29, 1968. He was raised in Groton and attended the local elementary and middle school. He graduated from Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford, MA.
Tim worked for various local auto body shops early in his career, then went on to install pools for 20 years. Tim cherished being outdoors; he continually found peace and solace both fishing and kayaking. He was an avid gardener and loved animals.
Tim was also a very talented artist who enjoyed painting and drawing. He always listened to music and followed NASCAR and all the Boston professional sports teams.
Tim will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, smile, and contagious laugh.
He is survived by his siblings Theresa Perez of Winchendon and Dennis Phelan of Townsend, his nephews Rafael J. and Jason Perez and niece Melissa Perez Capotosto, and his brother-in-law Rafael A. Perez.
He was predeceased by his brothers, James Joseph Phelan, Kevin Lawrence Phelan, Patrick Brian Phelan, his niece Kristen Perez and grandmother Marie Phelan.
Services will be private.
