Tyler Curley, 29 of Groton, formerly of Harvard passed away suddenly on August 22, 2020 just two weeks shy of his 30th birthday due to injuries sustained in a utv accident. He was the loving and devoted son of Gayle (Cramb) Curley.
Tyler was born in Concord on September 10, 1990 the son of Kerry and Gayle (Cramb) Curley. He was raised and educated in Harvard and moved to Groton in 2007. During his childhood Tyler loved to spend summer vacations at Wells Beach Maine with his family. He was an excellent athlete in his younger years exceling in swimming, soccer, football and basketball. Tyler was also a jack of all trades and there wasn't much he couldn't do and would always be willing to help anyone when they needed it. He loved his job and all of his co workers, saying they were his second family, he was employed as the head foreman at the shop and was in charge of over 50 trucks and machinery at Commonwealth Construction and Utilities where his efforts and abilities were an invaluable asset. Tyler enjoyed riding his UTV with friends and loved being outside and exploring nature. He had a strong love for music, anything with lights and spending time with his fiancé at their lake house in New Hampshire. Tyler will always be remembered for his kind heart and his ability to make anyone laugh. He was a friend to all and will be missed beyond measure.
In addition to his mother and father, Tyler is survived by his sister Kendra Curley of Groton, his fiancé, Kelley Pruyne and her family of Woburn, their beloved dog Diesel, and many beloved aunts, uncles, friends and coworkers.
Family and friends can gather to honor and remember Tyler for a period of visitation from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday August 29, 2020 in the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street, Groton. His funeral service will be private for family only. A livestream link will be provided here on Saturday morning for those who wish to watch the service remotely.
