Vincent Basil Tucci age 76 of Littleton passed away peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Bedford V.A. Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Camille (Accetta) Tucci.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 26, 1940 he was the son of the late Mario and Lillian (Danelutti) Tucci. He enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country. Upon his return home, Vincent and Camille married on October 3, 1964 at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Brooklyn, NY. They soon moved to Massachusetts and settled in Littleton. He graduated from Fitchburg State College with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Science.
Vinny worked for many years along "America's Technology Highway" on Route 128 for companies such as Raytheon, Compugraphic Corporation and Data General as a manufacturing engineer.
Vinny enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid woodworker, having built and refinished furniture for family members. He also built and flew model airplanes and took pleasure in carving holiday decorations for his grandchildren.
He loved the outdoors and often went bow hunting, canoeing and skiing. He spent many summer vacations on Cape Cod.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Patricia Leyne and her husband Kevin of Reading and Vincent B. Tucci, Jr. and his wife Elena Nedea of Boston and his grandchildren Michael and Kristin Leyne. He is also survived by his brother Mario Tucci of NY and Rita Black of PA.
Burial with U.S. Army Military Honors at the Massachusetts National Veteran's Cemetery in Bourne will be private.
