Walter Stephen Geise Sr, 70, of Littleton, Massachusetts, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Born in Waltham, Massachusetts on September 4, 1953, son of the late Nelson H. Geise and the late Margaret D. (Welch) Geise.
Walter grew up in Littleton, MA, lived away for awhile and moved back to Littleton many years ago. Walter was known by a few nicknames over the years. “Long Lake Kid” by the many friends he grew up and hung out with at the Lake; “Big Daddy Walt” from Construction years; “Boots” for being seen quite often in his alligator cowboy boots and belt.
Walter had a passion for fishing. He enjoyed his often trips to Vermont to see his family, fishing and hunting. Weekend trips to Frye Island, Maine to visit with family and to do more fishing on his favorite rocks and trips to Aruba.
Walter loved his guitar - especially playing Dueling Banjos. Also, Garage Karaoke, his fish aquarium; and, of course, “Willie”, his buddy.
Walter is survived by his girlfriend of many years, Karen Betts, his children - Nichole Geise Smith, Walter Geise Jr., Ryan J. Geise, Melony Geise. Walter, also, was a parent to Michelle Betts and Lori Betts (deceased). Sister, Shirley Whitcomb, Brother, Bob Geise and Thomas Geise, grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Family and friends will gather for a period of visitation on Saturday, September, 7, 2024, from 10:00AM - 12:00PM at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, MA.
