Warren E. Hathaway age 89 of Clinton formerly of Harvard passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of the late Florence (Vars) Hathaway.
Born in Littleton on July 5, 1928 the son of the late Allen J. and Edith (Whitcomb) Hathaway. Warren graduated from Littleton High School and attended college while working two jobs to support his family. Warren enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. Upon his return home he worked for many years as a Mechanical Engineer for GenRad located in Bolton and Concord.
Warren enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all of his extended family and friends. He wintered in Florida for many years making many friends there. He enjoyed golfing year-round which became a passion after he retired.
He is survived by his loving children, Donna L. Hathaway of Lancaster, David W. Hathaway and his wife Anna Armenti of Northborough, Nancy H. Silverman and her husband Charles "Chuck" of Northborough, Janet Woodsum and her husband David of Harvard, Pamela A. Hathaway of Clinton and a special friend of the family, Judy Cox and her husband Brian of Harvard. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nikita Wolshin and her husband Jason, Joseph Woodsum, Jennifer Woodsum and Jake Hathaway; his great-grandchildren Charlotte and Colton Wolshin, his brother John Hathaway of Littleton and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Warren on Friday, June 1st from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton. His service will follow at 7:00 pm. Burial will be private.
