William K. McMahon

William K. McMahon, Jr., age 74, a lifelong resident of Pepperell died March 12, 2016 at the Nashoba Community Hospital In Ayer after an extended illness. He was the husband of Marilyn P. (Brown) McMahon with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.
He was born in Pepperell on July 4, 1941, the son of the late William K. McMahon, Sr and the late Doris E. (Hackett) McMahon.

Mr. McMahon was educated in the Pepperell School system and was a graduate of Pepperell High School, Class of 1959. He served a tour of duty in the U. S. Air Force. Prior to his retirement in 2006, he was the owner of McMahon Masonry Company in Pepperell for over 40 years. He loved antique cars and owned a 1932 Ford. His greatest joy was to spend time with his family, especially by the pool, at the beach and at family barbecues.

Besides his wife of 45 years, he leaves two sons, William K. McMahon, III and wife Erin and Sean McMahon, both of Pepperell; two daughters, Caitlin McMahon and partner Craig Radwich, Elizabeth Sarbacker and husband Ian, both of Pepperell; a brother, Bruce McMahon of Scarborough, ME; two sisters, Janice Brunelle and husband John of Rutland, MA and Barbara Pillsbury and husband James of Escondido, CA; three brothers-in-law Arthur Brown and wife Patricia of LeSueur, MN, Kevin Brown of Pepperell and James Brown and wife Donna of LeSueur, MN; a sister-in-law, Mary Sheila Licqurish and husband Clint of Dunstable; 8 loving grandchildren, Matthew, Allyson, Chris, Ryan, Oliver, Alex, Colin, and Joelle, all of Pepperell and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves a longtime friend for over 70 years, Leonard "Lindy" Chase of Pepperell. Mr. McMahon was pre-deceased by a son, Ryan McMahon.

Being his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Pepperell Cemetery Association Cemetery, Park Street, Pepperell. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to Nashoba Nursing Service and Hospice, 2 Shaker Road, Shirley, MA 01464.
