William M. Sherwood

William M. Sherwood, age 77, passed away in Greenville, NH on December 16, 2013 after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Pepperell, MA on April 19, 1936, the son of the late Elmer W. and Lenora (Marks) Sherwood. He was educated in the Pepperell School System and graduated from Pepperell High School with the Class of 1954. He later served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve where he received the rank of Corporal. He was Owner/Operator of Atlas-Titan Corporation, a concrete contracting company for his entire working life.
He is survived by his six children: Douglas M. Sherwood of Pepperell, MA, Pamela S. Farnsworth of Greenville, NH, TerryLee Sherwood of Milford, NH, Valerie A. Ojala of Townsend, MA, Jolie C. Grow of Templeton, MA and Elaine L. Fisher of Roland, OK; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many close friends.A memorial service will be held on January 10, 2014 at 11 a.m at the Marchand Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant Street, Pepperell, MA. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Pepperell, MA. In lieu flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to the Hospice at HCS, Suite 316, 45 Main St., Peterborough, NH 03458
