William Daniel Soberg, age 74, of Littleton, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Emerson Hospital.
Born in Concord, MA, on August 21, 1951, Bill was the son of the late Howard and Thelma (Hansen) Soberg. He was raised in Concord and graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School, where he made many lifelong friendships.
In 1969, Bill enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving his country until 1971, earning the rank of Lance Corporal. His years of service were something he held with pride, and the values of discipline and loyalty remained important to him throughout his life.
Bill later married and settled in Littleton, where he built a life centered around family, hard work, and community. He was co-owner of the family repair business, E&S Mobile Service in Concord, where he spent many years doing what he truly enjoyed — working on vehicles, fixing problems others couldn’t, and interacting with customers. Bill was known for being hands-on, knowledgeable, and always willing to lend a helping hand.
Outside of work, Bill enjoyed spending time outdoors and appreciated the simple things in life. He loved hunting and fishing, and he especially treasured time spent with his family and grandchildren, making memories that will be held close for years to come.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Dakota Soberg and Mackenzie Soberg; their partners, Matt Lombardo and Corey Patterson; and his grandchildren, Bailee, Lilaa, and Maddoxx. He is also survived by his brothers, Dana Soberg of Ayer, Peter Soberg and his wife, Dianne, of Florida, and Joseph Soberg and his wife, Julie, of Acton, as well as his niece and nephews, and his wife, Rita (Farren) Soberg.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Bill for visiting hours on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, followed by U.S. Marine Military Honors at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton, MA. Bill’s celebration of life will continue afterward at the V.F.W. Post 6556, 21 Taylor Street, Littleton, MA. Burial will be private.
